Deeply involved in community activities that promote both children and sports, Dr. Weaver serves on the Vienna Recreation Committee, the Jackson Park Board and the United Appeal Board. He was the chairman of the “Light the Fields” project that provided lighting for four youth baseball/soccer fields and was proud to be selected to examine athletes for the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta Georgia. He left his successful practice on Dudley Avenue to join the Vienna Eye Clinic in 1994. A genial “people person”, he has a comfortable, relaxed approach that makes him a favorite of adult clientele. As an over 50, long-term glasses-wearer himself, he is familiar with and successful at treating the challenges of vision changes that accompany aging. A busy family man and enthusiastic golfer, he believes that vision problems should not interfere with an active lifestyle. He is a long time member of both the West Virginia Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. Dr. Manzo attends all of the football games as the on-site eye doctor for the players of Parkersburg High School.
Malinda Lucky, O.D.
